In Groningen you can shop 7 days a week! Discover the many shopping streets Groningen has to offer within walking distance from the Martini Hotel. Most of the shops are opened on Sundays. On Thursday evening there is a shopping evening and most of the shops are opened until 21.00h.
In the year 2016 the streets “Zwanestraat” and “Kromme Elleboog” were chosen as best shopping street in the Netherlands. A year before (in 2015) this award went to the “Folkingestraat” which is also in Groningen. So when you go shopping make sure you do not forget these streets!
